About the Show

Welcome to Freedom of Fetish, the fetish advice podcast hosted by Raven Lightholme.  I’ll be your guide through the fascinating, frustrating, titillating, and complex world of sex.  Ask away, whether it concerns the sweetest vanilla to the darkest deviance.  Nothing is too taboo.

I named the show “Freedom of Fetish” to highlight my belief that we’re all entitled to our fantasies, our wants, and our desires, no matter what they are. You have the right to be turned on. Thoughts alone never hurt anyone.

Relationships, orgasms, kinks and fetishes, techniques, ways to spice things up, fantasies, experimenting with toys, and taking your sex life outside the bedroom to parties and communities is just the beginning.  Visit the “Ask A Question” page for information on how to submit your queries.

I’ll answer your written or recorded question on my podcast.  Click here to view all previous episodes, or click the “Episode Archive” tab at the top of the screen.

The unfortunate reality is that sex education in America ranges from abysmal (think “abstinence only”) to comprehensive.  There’s a lot that people don’t know and much that they’re afraid to ask.  My goal is to help you realize your fantasies and cultivate a healthy relationship that works for you, no matter what form it may take.

I am not–nor do I claim to be–a psychologist or a doctor (although I am a lawyer, not that that really matters here).  I’m just a young woman with a life-long interest in human sexuality, a wealth of information from books, conferences, and podcasts I’ve consumed, and a hell of a lot of sordid life experiences, and I use these tools give you accurate advice.

When an expert can give more complete insight into a subject than I could, however, I call one in for a guest appearance. Guests not only make for a fun recording experience for me, but they give you, the listener, a view into the many niches of the fetish realm.  I am honored and flattered to be able to bring these guests to you.
